SentinelOne EDR - Installation Guide

System Requirements

- Finish Installation: Once the installation is complete, the SentinelOne agent will begin running and connect to the management console.
Linux
- Download the Installer: Obtain the Linux installer script from the SentinelOne management console.
- Open Terminal: Navigate to the directory where the installer script is located.
- Run the Installer: Execute the command
sudo bash <installer_script.sh>to start the installation. - Verify Installation: Confirm that the SentinelOne agent is running by executing
sudo systemctl status sentinelone.
Post-Installation Steps
- Re-enable Security Software: If you disabled any security software before installation, re-enable it now.
- Verify Connectivity: Ensure that the SentinelOne agent is communicating with the management console.
- Perform a System Scan: Initiate a full system scan to ensure that your system is secure and free from threats.
